Lingap Sa Mamamayan is a socio-civic activity of the Iglesia Ni Cristo which regularly conducts medical and social missions in various parts of the country that cater both members and non-members of the Church.
The Lingap sa Mamamayan is an outreach program of the Church conducted regularly to help residents of communities affected by hardships and natural calamities that cater to both members and non-members of the Church.A team of volunteer doctors and nurses from the church will lead the activity.
Aside from the medical consultations and basic dental services, the beneficiaries were given plastic bags that contained rice, canned goods, and instant noodles. Starter doses of vitamins and medicines were also handed out to those who availed themselves of the medical consultations.
This socio-civic action has been first initiated by the late Executive Minister, Bro. Eraño G. Manalo during times of calamities and is being continued by the present Church Administration under the leadership of Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo.
Iglesia Ni Cristo’s Lingap sa Mamamayan is currently in Parola Compound, Tondo, Manila and offers different social and medical services to Tondo residents. Watching it Live on Net25 makes my heart proud to be a member of the church. God said, we should love one another. Helping other people in need is a great way of sharing God’s blessings. This way, we can also attract non-members to observe and listen in the church’s doctrines and principles.
